My FAVORITE Hamburger: Main Street Burger

Blog Post Graphic-22

Are you a proud Idaho "home grown potato"? If you're one of the lucky ones who call this beautiful state home, or if you've chosen to make it your home sweet home, then you're in for a treat.

At Meridian Family Acupuncture, we celebrate all things Idaho, from its breathtaking landscapes to its warm-hearted people. And today, I want to share with you a little slice of my personal Idaho heaven.

Let me introduce you to Main Street Burger – a local gem that holds a special place in my heart, and on my taste buds.

My favorite hamburger: Main Street Burger

There's a story behind this place. When I was a kid, in Yucca Valley, CA, I had a Sunday school teacher named Patsy. In later years, Patsy moved to Idaho to live with her son, John.

When we decided to explore the Boise area, I didn't know anyone who lived here–except for Patsy. I called her up and told her I'd like to come and visit. She invited me to stay with her and her son, John.

It just so happened that John was opening Main Street Burger that weekend. He asked us if we wouldn't mind helping him to train his new employees. Talk about perfect timing. Our job was to go through the drive through as many times as needed so that the staff could practice on us. We fell in love with the burger that weekend—and it's been a favorite ever since.

I'm tellin' ya, the burger at Main Street Burger is the REAL deal!

  • A potato bun
  • A fresh dill pickle sliced lengthwise
  • The burger is grilled and seasoned to perfection
  • The lettuce and tomato are fresh and crisp
  • You can also order it in a lettuce wrap

Oh but wait… There's more! Their tater tots are legendary.

Even a non-tot enthusiast like myself can't resist their golden, crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Just be warned–one order is enough to feed a small army, so bring your appetite or a few friends to share the joy.

Despite the new burger joints popping up left and right, Main Street Burger remains unrivaled in my book. No need to navigate a maze of orange cones through The Village parking log for a taste of perfection–it's right here, waiting for you.

So, whether you're a seasoned local or a newcomer to Idaho, I urge you to swing by Main Street Burger. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you later.

Here's to good food, good company, and the Idaho way of life!
